Hi, Myself David miller professional photographer for 12 years. Photography has changed my life. Life is full of photos, images or pics. The best camera in the world to click the photos is your eyes. From the day one of your birth you keep on clicking the things whatever you seen in life by blinking your eyes but you are not able to save all the images in your brain. Hence, the technology has replaced digital cameras, DSLR cameras, Mobile cameras, Digi Cam to save the pictures clicked.

What is Photography?

Photography is art of showing the things and visual information where image says everything. Night Photography Tips for Beginners

It’s easy for photographers to capture images during the day time. But capturing the images in the night is not an easy job for photographers. The first and the foremost things you need to do is “know your camera”. A thorough understanding of the camera is essential before diving into night photography.

Equipment Essential for Night Photography
Tripod – The Tripod is the most important tool for night photography. The shutter speeds should be slow in night photography. A Tripod helps in controlling the shake or movement and avoids the blur while capturing the images at slow shutter speeds.

Shutter Release/Self Timer – Sometimes during long exposures the press of shutter button can even cause camera blur. Use the self-timer to overcome the blur during long exposures.

Lens Hood – Scenes with bright light will create lens flares during night photography. Lens Hood is a must to over the night flares.

Flash Light – It is difficult to see the buttons during the night time. A flash light is an essential device in the dark for night photography.

Wide Angle Lens – Usage of wide angle lens makes the images visually appetizing in the night.

White Balance: White balance is the most important setting in night photography. Avoid automatic white balance. Set the white balance to day light as it preserves the colors and hues during night photography.

Beginners Guide to Understand What is Shutter Speed- Shaw Academy Photography

Shutter Speed is more important aspect in Photography like ISO and Aperture. Shutter speed also known as exposure time. Shutter speed is measured in fractions of seconds. Normally 1/60 or more than that used commonly used. If its below 1/60 camera gets shake and image will be blurred in this case it’s better to use tripod. Lets discuss what is shutter speed in introduction to photography.

What is Shutter Speed
Shutter Speed is shutter can open in amount of time. There many options for shutter speeds – 1/8, 1/15, 1/30, 1/60, 1/125, 1/250, 1/500 so on. It’s very easy to find shutter speed in camera it’s shown on top left corner in the screen. Usually photo can be clicked in 3 types of shutter speed.

FAST shutter speed- where image clicked clearly without any blur as shown in below image.











MEDIUM shutter speed- In this image is clicked in little blur not clearly captured due to change in shutter speed number as shown in below image.











SLOW shutter speed- This shutter speed will result in fully blur form as shown in below image.



Usually shutter speed is used in moving subjects like when the vehicles are moving, animals are running or jumping, birds are flying shutter speed is applied. Tips for How to Use Shutter Speed
·         Use shutter speed faster when you need to halt the motion in photography.
·         If you want to click the blurry image for moving subject keep your shutter speed lower
·         While using lenses avoid the camera shake when shutter speed is high to avoid blurry images.

Conclusion
Movement is stopped when shutter speed is increased.
Movement is blurred when shutter speed is decreased.

Black & White Photography

Dark Room Photography

Macro Photography
In macro photography photos are clicked by very closely to the object. In this, size of the object looks bigger than original size. Macro photography is called by many types like photomicrography macrography. It’s very easy to click a macro photo by using Macro lenses. Usually macro photos were taken on insects, flowers, water and tiny objects.













HDR Photography
High dynamic Range photography will produce dynamic range of photos which attracts to human eyes. HDR photos are developed by normal photos which looks with special effects. Photographers use tools like Adobe Lightroom to make HDR photos.












Panoramic Photography

Panoramic photography is joining many photos into single photo captured in same camera. In this style N number of photos were taken and some of them were merged into single by editing. We have specific panorama cameras in the market to take panorama photos but its costs little expensive.

We have different type of photographers like wedding photographer, Wild life photographer, Fashion photographer, Advertising Photographer and many more. Every different photographer has own styles and techniques to capture the photos. Initially you should know how to use DSLR cameras and its functionalities.

1. Buy suitable DSLR Camera and Lens. If you are beginner photographer go with the basic DSLR cameras so that it will be easy to learn and operate. Once you gain knowledge about functions and operations buy a professional camera and lenses. Always it’s a confusion to which lens to buy?
According to distance of photos you can select lens like 18mm, 28mm, 50mm, 70mm and 200mm.


2. Learn basic definitions of ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed, High Dynamic Range, Focal Length etc.
These aspects are very important and essential for all photographers.

3. Never ever forget the Tripod which is most important for photography. You may feel carrying tripod can be Burden. But if you want to click perfect photos with good size, clarity and view tripod is mandatory.



4. Select a proper place to capture photos. In all the places we can’t take colorful photos. It’s important to click photos in places like market, events & family functions, nature and animals.
Also, give importance for the background, many time quality of the photo depends on background too. If the lead photo is good and background is dim or inappropriate, then it won’t be better photography.
